1. Introduction
Mana Voori Mart ("we", "us", "our") provides this Vendor app so shop owners can list products, receive customer orders, and manage their shop on our platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from you as a vendor, how we use it, and the choices you have. By creating a shop account or using this app, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.
2. Information we collect
Shop & account information: your shop name, shop category, shop address, the franchise area you register under, your email address, and your password (stored securely by Firebase Authentication, never in plain text or readable by us).
Shop location: the map coordinates of your shop. You set these by dragging a pin, searching an address, or tapping "Use my location" — that last option reads your device's GPS position once, only when you tap it, and only to place the pin. We do not track your location in the background or at any other time.
Shop content: the products, prices, stock levels, and shop images you add.
Order information: orders placed with your shop, their items and amounts, the status you set, and your acceptance or rejection of them.
Notifications: a notification token for your device, so a new order can ring and wake your screen. It identifies the device, not you personally, and is used only to deliver order alerts and important notices.
Usage & device information: basic technical information such as app version and crash logs, used to keep the app working reliably.
3. How we use your information
To create and manage your shop account; to show your shop and products to customers in your franchise area; to route orders to you and let you accept, reject, and fulfil them; to alert you when a new order arrives; to let the franchise and platform administrators review and approve your shop; and to keep the platform secure and working.
4. Sharing of information
Your shop name, category, address, shop location, images, and product listings are shown to customers — this is the point of the app. Your shop details and order activity are visible to the franchise that manages your area and to platform administrators, so they can approve your shop and resolve disputes. Your contact details may be shared with the delivery partner assigned to an order and with the customer for that order. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share information where required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and platform.
5. Customer information you receive
To fulfil an order, this app shows you the customer's name, delivery address, phone number, and order contents. That information is shared with you for that order only. You must use it solely to prepare and hand over that order, must not store, copy, market to, or share it with anyone else, and must delete any copy you make once the order is complete. Misuse of customer information can result in your shop being suspended or removed from the platform.
6. Data storage & security
Your information is stored on secure cloud infrastructure (Firebase / Google Cloud), with database rules restricting each vendor to their own shop record and their own orders. Access by our staff is limited to authorised personnel. While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.
7. Your choices
You can review and update your shop name, address, shop location, images, and products at any time from the Profile and Products sections of the app. You can revoke the location and notification permissions from your device settings, though the shop-location picker and new-order alerts will not work without them. You can close your shop to stop receiving orders without deleting your account. To delete your account and shop data, contact us using the details below or ask the franchise or administrator managing your area.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
